The U-Bahn Navigator main screen consists of the following elements
Menu for accessing application functions
Selection elements for start and destination
Tool buttons for start finding a route and for switching stations
The display area for routes
Menu
File
The file menu has the items "Open..." to open a U-Bahn map and "Close..." to close the current
map. "Exit" leaves the application.
After selecting "Open..." a list of installed U-Bahn maps will be displayed.
View
The View menu contains functions to view information about the current map - version, creator,
last change - lines and stations.
Help
The help menu contains the "About" item only.
Functions
Find Route
The button "Find Route" starts the route finder to find the shortest route and the route with
the least number of connections. Start and destination must be selected from a list of stations.
The routes found will be displayed in the route display area.
Switch Stations
The button "Switch Stations" switches the start and destination station to find the route
of the reverse direction.
View Stations
The menu item "View->Stations" opens a dialog with a list of stations of the current U-Bahn map.
For every station a list of serving lines can be displayed also.
View Lines
The menu item "View->Lines" opens a dialog with information about the lines of the current U-Bahn map. After
selecting a line from the list the stations of the line's route with the time between each station and possible
changes will be displayed.
